Amethyst Ring

Description

This is a pretty piece of Amethyst from an Amethyst mine near Thunder Bay, Ontario.  Jake likes to stop at this mine when driving through Canada, for a fee the mine allows you to dig through the tailings.  If you get there at the right time, when they’ve just brought a fresh load in, you can find some amazing pieces.  This piece was cut from a large rock that Jake found that he kept for the clear deep purple color, and as you can see from this ring, it was a good choice.  The stone is set in copper with a sterling silver twist wire around the bezel for an accent and the ring size is 7.
