Australian Boulder Opal Pendant 24

Description

Here is a pretty piece of Boulder Opal from Australia.  As with all of the Boulder Opal finished by Jake, this stone came from a raw piece that was purchased at a rock and gem show.  This piece has a section of deep blue opal set against the beautiful browns of the ironstone matrix, and the striped back is also exceptionally pretty.  The setting is sterling silver square wire framing the back with prongs to hold the stone in place, topped with a sterling bail.
