Australian Boulder Opal Pendant 39 – Sold

Description

This is a gorgeous piece of Australian Boulder Opal that came from a raw stone that Jake bought at a rock and gem show.  Boulder Opal is getting harder to find as the amount of opal found each year by the miners is steadily decreasing.  This piece has a streak of deep blue surrounded by the dark brown ironstone matrix, making a great contrast.  The stone is set using smooth sterling bezel around the edge of the stone with prongs holding the stone in place, topped by a sterling bail.
