Australian Opal Ring

Description

This is a cool piece of Australian Opal that Jake bought at a rock and gem show in Ohio.  The guy that sells the Australian opal has some unbelievable stones, some that have been in museums and many that cost five or six figures.  This one wasn’t that much money, but its still a nice stone.  A vein of fire opal runs through the center of this piece contrasted by the brown matrix rock.  The setting is sterling silver with a fancy sterling bezel and a sterling half round wire as a ring stock.  The ring size is 7 and one half.
