Fire Agate Pendant 11
$75.00
Pinpoints of Fire!
Description
Here is a different kind of stone. It’s a fire agate that Jake found out in Arizona, and it’s covered with tiny points of fire. Fire agates are very rare and are considered a “precious” gemstone. They are extremely hard to work on as the fire in them can be at different levels in the stone, so they need to be carved and polished with a hand tool. Some fire agates can take days to cut and polish. This one has some uneven surface areas, but is a little more uniform than many other fire agates. It is set using sterling silver square wire framing the back with prongs to hold the stone in place. Jake used a round copper ring as a bail for a little different look.
