Gem Chalcedony Pendant 1

Description

This is a very cool stone.  Jake found this stone just outside Goldfield, Nevada which was the site of a big gold strike in the early 1900’s and the town boomed.  Much of the town was destroyed by a fire in 1923 and as the gold petered out the population declined.  It’s not quite a ghost town now, but almost – there are only about 200 residents.  Just outside of town is an area known as Gemfield where you can find this unusual multi-colored chalcedony.  There are several different types, this stone has whites, browns and purple hues.  It is set in copper with a full copper back.
