Jade Wood Chip Pendant

Description

A wood chip pendant is made by taking a wood chip, sanding and staining it and putting a coat of clear polyurethane for a nice finish.  A depression is then cut into the wood with a hand tool that fits the size of the stone to be inserted.  The stone is held in place with help of some glue.  In this piece, the stone is a  beautiful piece of green Jade that Jake brought back from the Jade mines in Northern British Columbia.  The piece is finished with a round copper wire weave to form the bail.
