Petrified Wood Pendant 2

Description

Here is a piece of petrified wood from Northern Arizona, near the Petrified Forest National Park.  It is illegal to remove any petrified wood (or anything else) from the park, but there is a place close by there that allows the public to dig for a fee.  The petrified wood from there has beautiful colors, as you can see in this piece.  The stone is wrapped in a copper wire weave setting and has a slight patina to the copper to darken it.
