Septarian Pendant 5

Description

Septarian is found in a few spots around the world, but in the United States it is found in Utah.  Each year when Jake travels west he makes sure that he gets some of this unique stone.  Septarian can be found as geodes, with calcite crystals in the center and can make a great specimen piece.  But Jake likes to cut the stones to show off the unusual patterns of the surface of the stone.  This one has a border of yellow calcite with bands of chocolate brown, and white with a dark brown center.  The setting is copper square wire framing the back and prongs to hold the stone in place, topped  by an antique copper bail.
