Terrific Patterns!
Description
Septarian is an unusual stone that is found in Utah, and every year when Jake travels out to Utah he makes sure to get some of this beautiful stone. Septarian can be found as nodules and are often hollow containing calcite crystals. Because of the unusual patterns found on the outside of the rock, these nodules are referred to as “dragon eggs.” This particular stone has the beautiful brown patterns with a small section of yellow calcite in the middle. The setting is square copper wire framing the back with prongs to hold the stone in place, topped by an antique bail.
