Turquoise Pendant 7

Description

This is a nice piece of turquoise that Jake found in his trip to the Royston Turquoise mine in Nevada.  This turquoise is highly sought after, as it is very hard and needs no stabilizer in order to cut and polish it.  Natural turquoise  is becoming increasingly rare, as almost all of the turquoise mines in the U.S. are played out, so the remaining supply is becoming more and more valuable.  This piece has beautiful deep blue color running through the brown matrix stone.  It is set with round sterling silver wire framing the back, and curled prongs holding the stone in place.
