Turquoise Ring 1

Description

This stone is a piece of turquoise from the Royston Turquoise Mine that Jake found before the mine was closed to the public.  Royston turquoise has a wide range of color ranging from dark greens to light blues, and is very hard for turquoise, so it needs no treatment to stabilize it.  The color of this piece is deep blue with a green highlight running through it with small bits of the matrix rock for contrast.  The stone is set in sterling silver with a scalloped sterling bezel, and a  twisted flat wire ring shank.  The ring size is 6.
