Variscite Pendant 2

Description

This piece of variscite was part of a slab that was given to Jake by a lapidary friend.  Variscite is found almost exclusively in Utah and is characterized by its deep green color, which is clearly demonstrated in this stone.  It has a wide deep green streak between the edges of the tan matrix rock.  The setting is sterling silver with a fancy bezel of fine silver, encircled by a twisted square copper wire accent and topped by a sterling leaf bail.  Take a look at the matching earrings and ring!
