Description
Jake found this piece of Aquamarine on a visit to North Carolina. The mine allowed people to search for gems for a fee, and Jake was able to find some nice aquamarine (and garnets). Aquamarine is a gem of the beryl group which includes emerald, diamonds, sapphire and ruby. Aquamarine is thought to encourage self respect and inner peace. The stone is set in copper that has a patina to darken it.
