Blue Lace Agate Pendant 5

Description

Blue Lace Agate comes from Namibia, Africa, although small deposits have been found in other parts of the world.  The stone that produced this piece comes from the African mine, which produces a very high grade of stone.  Unfortunately, the mine recently closed so it may be hard to find stones with deep, rich color like this one.  The shades of blue are amazing and go all the way through the stone, so Jake finished and polished both sides and set it so that it can be worn with either side facing forward.  The setting is sterling silver square wire around the edge of the stone with prongs holding the stone in place, topped with a sterling bail.  Blue Lace Agate is thought to be a calming stone that relieves tension.
