Turquoise Pendant 48

Description

The turquoise in this piece came from a raw stone that Jake found at the Royston Turquoise Mine in Nevada, several years ago when the mine owners used to allow the public to dig through the mine tailings.  Royston turquoise is highly desired for the array of colors in the stone and the fact that the turquoise is hard so it doesn’t need any stabilizer in order to take a great polish.  This stone has the blue turquoise swirling through the brown matrix rock for a great look.  The setting is square copper wire framing the back with prongs holding the stone in place, topped by an antique copper bail.
