Turquoise Pendant 50

Description

This piece of turquoise comes from a raw stone that Jake dug up while at the Royston Turquoise mine in Nevada.  The Royston Mine is one of the last of the mines that still are open and producing turquoise in the United States, and Royston Turquoise is famous for the high quality and color of its stones.  This piece has beautiful blue mixed with the brown matrix rock for a great contrast.  The setting is sterling silver square wire framing the back with prongs to hold the stone in place, topped by a sterling bail.
